GÓRKAL 40 cement is a hydraulic binder applied to pulps, concrete and prefabricated elements:
- in the heating units working at 1300°C,
- in the specific building industry,
- in the building chemistry as a component of mortar and glue,
- in the coal mines,
- in the repair and installation works (chimney pipes, ventilation ducts, heaters.
The wide application of alumina cement GÓRKAL 40 is possible due to its special features:
- short time bonding,
- fast increase in mechanical durability,
- resistance to sulphur aggression, sea water, carbon monoxide, methane,
- possibility of application at minus temperatures (-10°C),
- perfect protection of reinforcement,
- phase composition ensuring perfect mechanical properties for mortar and concrete.
GÓRKAL 40 cement is irreplaceable at installing heat units working at 1300°C, therefore it can be recommended for construction of fireplaces, furnace linings, repair of chimney and ventilation ducts. The application of GÓRKAL 40 prolongs the time of exploitation of those installations.
GÓRKAL 40 cement can be applied as well at -10°C. It works in chemically aggressive medium (for example in sulphur or chloride medium).
GÓRKAL 40 is applied in the mining industry due to its special features:
- fast increase in durability,
- heat hydration effectiveness,
- short time bonding,
- resistance to gas activity carbon monoxide, methane, hydrogen.
The characteristic features of GÓRKAL 40 cement, especially its short time bonding and fast increase in durability allow to apply it in urgent house works. It is easily applied in making floor bedding, window sills and lintels.
The process production of GÓRKAL 40 alumina cement is under strict control, which ensures the stable chemical composition and perfect physical parameters.

The high quality of the cement and the proper wrappage allow to store it for three months. In practice, however, it preserves all the properties for half a year.
