Present technical specifications (TS) apply to a foam-diatomite flamed crumb (hereinafter crumb), designed to be used as a filler while producing heat-resistant and lightweight concrete, as a filling material for the heat insulation of civil and industrial structure, thermic furnaces and manufacturing equipment at temperature up to 900° C and for other purposes. The crumb is a comminuting product at the crushing plants and a separation product of the waste residue of foam-diatomite bricks and other foam-diatomite production and its breakage.
Here is a sample of designation of the crumb in different documents and while ordering:
FDFC of the brand A TS 5764-003-25310144-99, where:
- FDFC foam-diatomite flamed crumb
- A the brand of the crumb (powder) with grain size up to 0,2 mm inclusive
- The crumb is to meet requirements of the present TS.
- The crumb is to be produced according to the grain sizes mentioned in the table.
- Physical-mechanical indicators of the crumb are to meet requirements mentioned in the table.
